All Nippon Airways Announces Boeing 737-700ER

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has withdrawn from the Boeing 737-700ER aircraft in its fleet. The Japanese carrier says the type retirement took place in line with plans to increase capacity on routes previously operated by aircraft for Boeing 787 Dreamliner. One of these routes includes broader Tokyo Narita-Mumbai route.

During the nine years, the Star Alliance member will use the aircraft, is used to launch new international services, such as Tokyo Narita to Guangzhou, Mumbai, and Yangon.

With his retirement, ANA plans to sell both aircraft. According to the database it indicates that ANA Boeing 737-700ERs had two operations since 2007, leading the JA10AN records (MSN 33879) and JA13AN (MSN 33880). Both aircraft had to be stored since March 27, 2016.

Each aircraft is equipped with a different configuration: JA10AN has 24 seats in business and 20 seats in the economy, while JA13AN is configured with 38 seats in business class of all.
