Russian Jet Fighter Intercepted by NATO Jets

 On Friday, 29 September 2017  

30 October 2014. The F-16s of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) intercepted the Russian military jet aircraft in Latvia border.

This was a re-interception since the same incident happened yesterday.

There were five of Russian jet aircraft, consisting a Sukhoi Su-27, two Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-31s Foxhound and two Sukhoi Su-24s Fencer intercepted by F-16s Fighting Falcon.

Recently, the relationship between Russian and NATO is getting higher, this is the lowest point since the Cold War, the conflict near eastern Ukraine is one of the main factor. In other side, Russian military aircraft and ships activities in Baltic Sea are one of the ignition.
