20 December 2014. Boeing leads in the widebody commercial aircraft market over the Airbus in 2014.

Widebody commercial aircraft is become more popular these day due to changes of market. Boeing has 787 Dreamliner series, 777 and 767 Series while its direct competitor from Airbus are A330, A350 XWB and A380 Super Jumbo Jet Aircraft.

In November Boeing could won 292 order for widebody aircraft while Airbus 'only' 61 order.

Airbus records about 1,031 aircraft order until November 2014, mean time Boeing records 1,274 aircraft order. The big gap came from huge Emirates' cancellation order over A350 XWB in last June.

In the other hand, Boeing able to boost its sale since the announcement of Boeing 777X Series. The aircraft will have new GE engines and fully-composite wings. Boeing claims the new generation of Boeing 777 will have better 12 percent of fuel consumption rather than the old model.

There is different story in narrow-body commercial aircraft market. Boeing only leads about twelve aircraft until November 2014. Boeing 737 Series' order could reach 982 aircraft meanwhile the Airbus A320 Series in 970 net order. There is much more competition in the best selling aircraft segment.

Boeing has raced over Airbus in deliveries matter as well. Thanks to successful higher production rate in Boeing's factory. Boeing has delivered 647 aircraft until November and Airbus only 554 aircraft.
