FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 Crash. The carrier has confirmed the crash of Flight FZ981, while Russian researchers say that according to preliminary information, in the 62 aboard the aircraft killed.

In a statement, Flydubai says the Boeing 737-800 was on the Dubai-Rostov route when he "crashed during landing." The incident occurred in Rostov at about 0:50 GMT.

The Research Committee of the Russian Federation, said meanwhile the plane "fell to the ground and broke into pieces" on landing. It adds that it has opened a criminal investigation into the accident. There were 55 passengers and seven crew on board the aircraft.

The low-average cost East adds that it is putting "emergency response in place" and that it will work closely with all authorities involved. In a statement, Boeing said it is willing to provide technical assistance at the request of government research agencies.

As the flight FZ981 down at the airport, 950 km south of Russia, it came down to 800 ft shy of the runway. Ministry of Emergency Situations of the country reports that the aircraft had to abandon an initial attempt to land, and went down to try again.

Some 500 rescue workers and 60 emergency vehicles rushed to the scene to fight the blaze and search for survivors.
