Sultan Ibrahim of Johor Malaysia Buys Custom Boeing 737

The "gold" Boeing 737 aircraft landed at Regla Johor Senai International Airport after flying in from the United States. Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Ibni Almarhum was at the airport to see and tour the aircraft after it landed in the afternoon. The jet built based on Boeing 737-800 and be customized in several parts, especially gold livery and luxurious cabin interior.

The aircraft, painted in gold and blue, bearing the Royal Johor crest on the tail and the actual state flags and state in your body. According to website monitoring radar flying 24 aircraft, the aircraft had previously traveled from Los Angeles to Hawaii before leaving Honolulu on Feb 27.

The aircraft will be parked on the actual flight hangar at the airport where the president already has several airplanes and helicopters. Sultan Ibrahim said that his last plane, which seats 25 to 30 people, would be used to promote Johor.

"I want to travel the world as my ancestors who once traveled on ships," said the star here. Sultan Ibrahim said he might also bring along public officials on their travels. To a question whether he could fly the aircraft, the qualified pilot responded, "I will go for my training on the simulator in Brisbane before flying this plane."

He was asked about plans for its maiden voyage on the new plane, Sultan Ibrahim said. "I still have to plan my trip, but it might just take a flight to Penang nasi Kandar" Also he expected to bring the less fortunate to Mecca for the Haj pilgrimage in his plane.

The ruling said the plane took about two years to be completed including 18 months for the interior to be renovated. The aircraft is equipped with a dining room, bedroom, shower and three galleys. Sultan Ibrahim is an avid collector of luxury vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles and trucks.
